JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Responsibilities:
Create and maintain appropriate system infrastructure, data architecture, ETL design, data modeling, and reporting capability of the Medicaid Management Information System
Maintain appropriate documentation of system infrastructure , data architecture, ETL processes, data modeling, and reporting capabilities as well as providing oversight
Provide leadership and supervision on all data interfaces
Act as primary liaison with Optum Enterprise Technology for the implementation, operation and support of all hardware, software and virtual environments
Ensure the team’s use of Optum’s ServiceNow implementation aligns with the project requirements
Support a team of ETL developers and develop ETL programs
Support a team of Database and BI Report developers
Ensure HIPAA and MARS-E 2.0 compliance is maintained across all technologies used to provide services of the Commonwealth of Virginia
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
? 7 years of Teradata development oradministration experience
? 3 years of Unix experience
? Must reside or be willing to reside near ouroffices in Richmond, VA or the ability to travel up to 50% of the time to Richmond,VA.
? Ability to lead and guide other developers
? Bachelor's degree
PreferredQualifications:
? Previous experience with Medicaid, MMISdevelopment, management of projects that required collaboration with othervendors and management of projects of similar size and complexity
? Experience with ERWin or other Data Modelingtool
? Experience with healthcare industry
? Extensive experience working with systemengineering teams to configure VPNs, dedicated circuits, routers, firewalls,load balancers, etc.
? 2 years of Informatica development orInformatica administration experience
? Teradata Certification
