DBA with strong performance tuning skills in Oracle 11g and 12c databases, ideally with some background in Data Warehouse and ability to troubleshoot and guide on statistics gathering, finding performance glitches, know their away around Oracle AWR and performance tools and can help educate the client team.
Ideally we would like a very strong resource for the first few months with the ability to move that person into a longer term contract. Client is looking to do the database upgrade themselves but will need additional support in the configuration and adjustments to address performance of the Data Warehouse.
•Performance tuning, support and analysis for BI (Business Intelligence) and Data Warehouse reports.
•Able to run analysis, traces and stats to assist with troubleshooting and suggesting improvements on some of the reports to the Dev teams.
•Adjusting Oracle parameters to address performance issues
•Ability to suggest/modify statistics gathering at the database level
