Job Title: AEM / JavaScript Developer
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
The AEM developer will be responsible for execution of critical projects in both AEM as well as guiding general front end development. This individual will take an active ownership role in our AEM development workstream as well as have a hand in developing the overall Javascript framework. This individual will manage multiple workstreams related to their assigned project portfolio, support the SDLC process, work with the JIRA process and ensure consistency through the development framework.
II. Essential Job Functions
Essential Functions (primary responsibilities and accountabilities)
1.Development within the AEM platform
2.Develop and update various front end development (HTML / CSS / JavaScript)
3.Assist / develop AEM module releases for DEV / QA / Production
III. Other Responsibilities
1.Resolve, mitigate and escalate issues and risks.
2.Manage internal / external stakeholder relationships and reporting requirements.
3.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices.
4.Maintain a focus on customer-service, efficiency, quality, and growth.
IV. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
•Must have a Bachelor degree
Experience:
•Must have at least 3-5 years of AEM experience
•Must have at least 5-7 years of JavaScript experience
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Experience interfacing with program managers, project owners, architects, partners/stakeholders.
•Experience developing templates, and documenting requirements.
•Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, dynamic and iterative development environment.
•Experience working with Agile methodologies.
•Experience working with JIRA, WIKI and other collaborative tools.
•Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•Must have ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
