Our client is seeking a JavaScript Developer who uses React.js/Redux and Node.js technologies to build mortgage websites and single page applications using JavaScript frameworks. The candidate is required to implement visual elements and behaviors to enhance user interaction with the help of front-end and back-end developers.
Responsibilities
• Proven development experience using React.
• Experience with the automated build process (continuous integration), build tools (Webpack) and source code version control tools (Git).
• Proven Node.js development experience creating RESTful APIs that can deliver JSON or XML content.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following JavaScript testing frameworks: Protractor, Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, Chai, or Sinon.
• Detailed knowledge of JavaScript concepts such as callbacks, closures, and promises.
• Critical thinker with the ability to breakdown complex technical requirements.
• Proficient understanding and creation of web markup (HTML5, CSS3/SASS).
• Build web-applications that are compatible with all modern web browsers and mobile devices.
• TypeScript experience would be a plus.
•Experienced (mid-level ) web developer
•Team size is 8; made up of 6 developers, 1 pm, 1 marketing
•Work hours are flexible
•Work is on-site, Pontiac MI (no remote)
•Attire is casual with shorts allowed on Fridays
•No travel expected/required (at this time)
