Network Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA or New York, NY- 200 Park Ave, New York, NY
Contract: 12 months

Under limited supervision, the Remote Cloud Engineer is responsible for complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities associated with one or more technical areas within the Network/Server function, such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support. Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation requires evaluation and judgment. Assist in the planning of large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Provide work leadership and training to other Network Engineers. Requires thorough knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks and applications.

ROUTE/SWITCH
Switching
• Technologies 5k,7k,9k switching
• Demonstrated knowledge Fabric Path, Spanning tree, ACI
• Catalyst/Branch workgroup type switches
• Troubleshooting, layer 3 routing, VTP/SVI
Routing
• Strong layer 3 routing across multiple platforms including ISR Gen 2 routers, 4k series, ASR
• Protocols - OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, QoS,
• Has worked with both Private and Public networks, MPLS, Layer 2, VPM, DMVPN, Site to Site and client VPN
WIRELESS
• Cisco based AP both autonomous and light weight
• Must show working knowledge of Flex Connect and DCA
• Understanding of Heat Maps and site surveys
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug through WLC
FIREWALLS
• Experienced in Firewall
• Checkpoint, ASA and Palo Alto
• Create ACL's, understand NATs
• Smart dashboard, panorama and FirePower
TROUBLESHOOTING AND MONITORING TOOLS
• Fundamental PC skills
• Ability to use wireshark, take captures, and analyze
• Understand SNMP
• Used monitoring tools i.e. Solarwinds, NetIQ etc.
• ACS, Prime Infrastructure
SERVER ADMINISTRATION
• Basic understanding of VMWare, virtualization
• Strong Windows management in 2003, 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016
• Experience with Linux
