Job Description: JobSummary: Responsible for the administration of server (Windows, Linux, andSolaris),virtual (VMware and Solaris), and storage infrastructure.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Administers Solaris servers. Ability to administer Linux or Windowsservers is a plus. Experience withSolaris 11, LDOMS, containers and virtualization under Solaris is a must.
2. Primary administrator and Level 2 approver for allinfrastructure change management functions including performance tuning,operating systems enhancements, virtual and fiber switch support, LUNmanagement, and configuration testing.
3. Assists in the creation of quality processes includingtemplates, snapshots, and automation.
4. Develops patching and backup support for all systems withApplication Support Services.
5. Analyzes performance, health, and monitoring involvingSolaris servers, and storage infrastructure to assist with recommendations,incident response, and problem resolution.
