Title: Network Engineer who will be okay with leading and managing

Contract to hire
Seeking a Network Engineer with some a desire to become a Lead/Manager with a client in Azusa, CA. This would be on a contract to hire basis and only US Citizens or Green Card holders are eligible.
•Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration and installation.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining voice and data networks. The network manager will be responsible for providing services to a single building in the form of a local area network, and for multiple LANs connecting several buildings in a wide area network.
•Maintains network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals and wiring.
•Works with consultants to ensure that the computer system platform provides sufficient computing resources to deliver the desired level of business performance.
•Coordinates with other departments to understand and meet their requirements.
•Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions.
•Develops or establishes strong relationships with service providers.
•Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
•5 years progressive Network Engineering and management experience.
•The preferred candidate has Retail PCI experience.
•Cisco routers, switches, firewalls. Meraki – preferred
•Demonstrated track record of success in managing complex networks
•Proficient in vendor management in implementing vendor solutions
•Experience with Oracle environments preferred
EDUCATION
•B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field is Preferred
•Network Certification required – CCNA or equivalent
