Job Description:
Seeks an energetic problem solver with proficiency in the area of J2EE, DB2LUW and object oriented analysis and design principles. This applicant must be highly motivated to meet project deadlines and technology challenges. Searching for a qualified candidate to join a dynamic development team working on a multi-year project to further automate the wayside detector data collection and analysis work.
Skills:
Required:
• 5 years of application development using Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• 3 years in an enterprise information technology environment developing Java based client-server applications using Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
•Experience in developing applications using SQL against relational databases including DB2LUW and/or SQL Server.
• Experience in J2EE based design, development, implementation & support of large scale projects using object oriented design and design patterns.
o Modelling different business domains and its relationship.
o UML representation of the design.
o Sequence diagrams for different cases.
o Flow charts & class diagrams
o Entity relationship
• Experience in analyzing situation errors, tasking, take action and verify results.
• J2EE Experience - (JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JPA)
•Excellent Object Oriented design skills
•Excellent Web Development skills in client/server environment
• Experience developing applications within a disciplined development methodology such as SDLC, UML, etc.
• Working experience of JavaScript frameworks like ExtJS and JQuery
•Working experience in EDI, Flat file transactions and communication.
•Working experience in use and deployment of Web Services using SOAP and RESTFUL models.
• Working experience in XML.
• Ability to create and work with various UML artifacts such has Use Cases, Class diagrams, Sequence diagrams, Activity diagrams.
•Working experience with JBoss
