Job Description:
This individual will beresponsible for the MDM platform administration and implementation of MDM bestpractices within the IT organization specific to the MDM Client Masteringinitiative using Informatica’s MDM solution strategy.
• Although understanding ofdevelopment and architecture is required, this is a platform administrationposition.
• Enable security and providefor external application access to MDM Hub services and other customizationtasks by using the services integration framework
• Ability to configure the MDMHub tools and workbenches to build an organization’s data model, and configureand execute the MDM Hub data management processes such as the landing, staging,trust, load, match, and merge
• Ability to use the metadatamanager tool to validate an organization’s metadata, promote changes betweenrepositories, import objects into repositories, export repositories, andperform related tasks.
• Ability to explain andidentify the MDM product architecture and to configure its main componentsincluding the cleanse engine, match server, hierarchy manager, data governancetools and workflows.
• Investigate and resolvevarious issues pertaining to the platform and application security.
• Manage, execute and validateMDM platform upgrades including major and minor patch releases.
• Develop best practices aroundmanaging MDM specific Linux server configurations
• Serve as a technical supportcontact for Informatica and work with Informatica Support to resolveplatform-related issues which require vendor assistance.
• Informatica Data Quality andPowerCenter experience required.
